Finding Yourself In An Everchanging World

I am trying to find a way to stay true to myself and continue to help others in a world that seems so disengaged, so filled with rage for one another, and so distrusting of life itself.

Are we embracing new technologies that make serve to make the rich richer and the poor poorer, all while swallowing the middle class whole by replacing humanity with robots and AI?  And all under the guise of creating “aides” that supposedly make our lives easier… by answering all of our questions, forming all of our opinions, and controlling all of our thoughts with manipulation.

All the while we are stripped of our life’s purpose, independence, feeling of  accomplishment, individualized creativity,  community spirit, true friendship, deep love connections, personal self esteem, communication and debate skills, the ability to question for one’s self and form your own conclusions, and so much more.

I mean, some folks are even replacing humans with humanoid robots and forsaking deep relationships.

Some folks are replacing real talk and real accomplishment with AI through writings, teachings, music, video, photography and more.

So where will it end? After all, they have said that this is just the beginning.

The beginning of what, exactly?

Is it just me or does the world seem very unsettled in every way? The energy has certainly shifted. I began this journey thinking I can help make a small difference but instead I feel smothered and lost in the rubbish we call technological aides.

Finding a real human accomplishment nowadays is like finding a needle in a haystack. Everything feels so disingenuous and fake. I’m in a world where I question everything.

In a world that is changing at such an incredible rate of speed, it’s feeling as if  we are about to lose a large part of what made us who we are today.

History.

Our lives as we once knew it will never be the same again and might even be erased in a matter of time as if we never existed.

Meaning that you and I (ALL OF US) would be meaningless and lost in this future we are racing toward.

This means our grand children will have never known a life without technology running (and ruining) their lives… and that is such an incredible loss to human nature and all of creation as a whole.

Gone are the days of simplicity.

Gone is simple child’s play which helps them learn and grow naturally. Gone are the days of falling off of a bike, skinning your knee, getting cleaned up and bandaged, and being sent back out with a hug to find your friends and play again.  Gone are all the teachings these experiences gave us to mature and deal with all types of situations and our own inner emotions.

Gone are the simple playground fights that taught us how to handle conflict under rules set to protect them.

When is the last time you saw children play outside with neighborhood friends?

The classic ways of learning as we mature into adulthood are lost.

And truth be told, it’s a loss for all of us. The innocence of play is lost and it’s time we find it and learn to laugh again.

I’m never letting go of my childlike playfulness for life. My best friend is my husband and we intentionally make playdates. Sometimes they are wild and crazy, sometimes they are simple and chill.

Why do we live so intentionally, with these planned times for play? Because we must never lose our JOY no matter the circumstances in life, whether personal or worldly; and we must never lose our deep connection to one another.

In an ever changing world we must always feel confidant in knowing our faith and our love will stay true. It’s where we “fit” even when we can’t find our place in this world’s crazy, mixed up puzzle.

Are you finding it difficult to navigate this new technological world? What is the hardest challenge that you face? Are you embracing change or do you find yourself seeing loss and warnings and wishing to go back in time? How have these technological changes changed the way you see the future?  And what are you doing to find your Peace in the uncertainty?

My prayer is that we all find our laughter and play again. May we all rise up again in SIMPLICITY and find our way back again.

You are cared about.

You are appreciated.

You are all worth far more than rubies.

You are loved.

May we all find our way and may we all find ourselves again.

Let’s reawaken and breathe life together.

Until next time, sweet friends,

Be kind to yourselves and each other.

BIG LOVE,

Char~
